Speeding Ticket Dismissed for Trucker

Speeding ticket dismissed for trucker.  Client was stopped for speeding on the interstate. Segment of the interstate was a downhill slope that included a 15-mph decrease in speed halfway down the hill for trucks; otherwise, client maintained same speed that was legal at the top of the hill. Client’s truck was physically unable to slow to the legal speed without pulling Jake brake and endangering other drivers and client. Officer was sitting at the bottom of the hill. Upon appearance in court, we demonstrated that client had clean driving record, showed photos and maps of the scene and the court agreed to dismiss. A conviction for speeding would have greatly affected my client’s pay if not caused client to lose the job. Case dismissed.
